We used Excel for our move last week and we couldn't have been happier with them. Firstly they were really good value, around £500 cheaper than another quote we got. They provided us with really useful information to help us prepare for our move, and then on the day they arrived in good time and did not stop moving and packing for around 3 hours. When we got to our new home there was a bit of a delay getting our keys, but the guys were super relaxed and didn't finish unloading the vans until 8pm that night, meaning they worked over 12 hours and were still chatty and friendly at the end. Everything arrived safely and in logical places! Thank you so much, highly recommended. Made a stressful day much less stressful.

As a Special Needs provision we have had cause to call on Excel Removals on two occasions over the last two years. It has involved moving all furniture, equipment and so on from several full Classrooms and Offices. I have to say thier Service is absolutely excellent. The task in hand was immense and yet they completed it with incredible professionalism and without a hitch. Our 2nd time using Excel for another house move in the last 5 years. We were so impressed with their service the 1st time that we didn’t hesitate booking them again. Neil was friendly and professional when he came to quote the job. We had to change the date of our move and Sally was understanding and helpful with this. She checked I was happy with everything upon making payment and confirmed exactly what we’d asked for ahead of our move date. The team turned up when they said they would on the day of our move. We had 4 trucks and 4 lads to move us and they worked so hard and fast, taking extreme care with our belongings to ensure nothing was damaged. We had a hold up with solicitors in the afternoon whilst waiting for keys and they were so patient and responded with a no trouble attitude. They are a credit to Excel and everything you would expect when putting your trust in a company to look after your belongings. We can’t praise them enough and 100% recommend them to anyone needing removals! Thank you again Neil and team!

If I ever moved again, this is the removal firm I would use to do so.
From the first call to Excel, I was impressed with the customer service received. The quote was reasonable and I knew immediately from speaking to Neil that he knew what he was talking about and was taking me seriously.
He visited my home address (unlike some other firms!), had a proper look around and asked about the new move address and access. Based on this he was able to quote for the right amount, and left me confident that the job was in safe hands.
The day of the removal went seamlessly from a moving point of view, and the guys worked extremely hard on what turned out to be a fourteen hour move!
Moving home is stressful enough, I firmly believe if I had gone with some of my other quotes; things would have gone wrong.

I am not one for leaving reviews as a rule, however for this company I will make an exception. The support we received from the management team was excellent in what turned out to be a less than straight forward move. They were flexible and helpful all the way through. This then carried over to the removal team who were lovely, incredibly diligent with both packing up and unpacking. They constantly had a smile on there face irrelevant of the time of day and wanted to please us all of the time. Moving house or premises can be extremely stressful but take some or all of that away with this company. 5 star all the way.

They looked after by storage needs for 6 months. Then moved me to Castleford and moved my brother into a bungalow too, all in seven days. Liaising was very easy, we had a change of dates a couple if times and they accommodated us very well. Their staff was amazing and professional. Top class. Hard to beat. Thank you Neil and everyone.

Called Excel at fairly short notice before my moving date and they couldn’t have been more helpful. My belongings were in storage so Neil discussed everything over the phone and gave a good value quote. On the day the team couldn’t have been better. Polite, helpful and hard workers, they made what’s normally a stressful experience very smooth and uncomplicated. Great care was taken, not only with my belongings but also in the house with protective door, floor, stair and banister covers put in place before moving furniture and boxes in. If you are looking for a great removal team I highly recommend Excel.

We had Excel recommended to us for our recent house move.
From Neil coming to see us for the quote to the last box box getting unloaded they were first class and helped make the move easier and even a few snags whilst waiting for keys to the new property didn’t change the removal guys professional approach and they were still able to have a laugh and joke whilst maintaining their professionalism.
Excel are also very competitive when it comes to price so with that added in to the quality job they do I’d highly recommend Excel to anyone.
